CASTARA provides browser tools and optional member services designed with privacy and safety in mind. Keep original files, protect sensitive input and inspect every result.
Using the service
You must have the right or permission to use each file and must comply with applicable law.
Your responsibility
Keep backups and verify every result before relying on it. Do not use the service to infringe rights, deceive others or bypass safeguards.
Local and server-backed features
Most public tools run locally, but local processing is not a promise that every browser, extension, device or network is secure. Features that save account information, protected QR logos, saved codes, label sheets, Smart Profiles, points or rewards use CASTARA servers as described in the Privacy Policy. A direct external-media URL is requested by your browser from the source site and may reveal your IP address and browser request information to that site.
Third-party services and links
Third-party authentication, security, advertising, analytics, email and linked sites are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. CASTARA does not control external content, availability or policies. A link, bank name or third-party reference does not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure. Access may be limited when needed to protect users, the service or legal compliance.
Availability
The service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Changes
We may update the tools or these terms. The version and date shown on the page identify the applicable text. Material changes affecting registered users will be brought to their attention where reasonably required. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected.
Subtitle files and publishing
You must have the rights and permissions needed to edit, preview and publish subtitle text and video. Keep the original files and review timing, wording, names, sensitive information and platform requirements before distribution. Subtitle Toolkit is an editing aid and does not guarantee accessibility, broadcast, legal, platform or delivery compliance. Core SRT and WebVTT cues are supported; advanced styling, regions, metadata or player-specific features may not be preserved.
Accounts and CASTARA Points
Using a third-party sign-in method registers a CASTARA account if you do not already have one. Adding a separate CASTARA password is optional. Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate information. Optional profile fields may be left blank. The one-time 100-point profile completion reward is a voluntary tradeoff: claiming it after the separate confirmation permanently disables self-service account deletion, while cancelling has no penalty. This does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived. Points are promotional, have no cash value and cannot be transferred. We administer the points program and may change its rules, limits, values, expiry and rewards; withhold, correct, reverse or expire points; and restrict participation where reasonably needed for errors, abuse, fraud, legal requirements or operations. Rewards may vary by eligibility, location, campaign, stock, partner availability and other circumstances. The CASTARA Points Terms apply, and mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
