How to split and format text

Separate pasted text into useful segments and format the complete result in your browser.

Practical steps

Open Split Text, then paste or type the text you want to organize. Choose New line, Comma, Semicolon, Tab or Space, or enter an exact custom delimiter; custom delimiters are treated as literal text, not regular expressions. Choose whether to trim surrounding spaces or remove empty segments. You can also add characters before or after each segment and choose what appears between segments. Select Split text, review the segment count and preview, then copy the formatted output. The copy action includes every segment even when the on-screen preview is shortened.
